ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Adrian Brannan
Ventura, CA
Adrian Brannan is a chart-topping singer-songwriter who is equally at home in the branding pen, on stage, or on a bucking horse. An author and musician, she is also known for her successful series of publicly written “Dear Cowgirl” letters on social media that spurred an online community of hundreds of thousands. Her second book, "Dear Cowgirl: 100 Poems of Hope," debuted to a massive response in 2023. Adrian’s fourth and most recent album, "Desert Dwelling Mama," was released to thunderous applause. Her forthcoming album featuring numerous guest artists is expected in early 2025. Adrian is currently a graduate student at Georgetown University and splits her time between school, writing and performing, and taking care of her own little bunch of cows.
Dick Gibford
New Cuyama, CA
Dick Gibford is still working horseback on the Walking R Ranch in south Central California. He has cowboyed around the West for 30 years, with the past 20 spent on this rough and rugged chunk of real estate that has become his adopted home. With a string of four mountain-raised horses, Dick manages the outside range and gathers the big calves and yearlings when needed. Most of his poetry reflects his life experiences as a cowboy. He spends his spare time catching up on rawhide orders. When he pulls his boots on every morning, he gives thanks to the Old Man upstairs for another day in the saddle.
