A Taste of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering takes place at the Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 12-14, during the National Finals Rodeo. Featuring Waddie Mitchell, Gary Haleamau and Kāwili, Kristyn Harris, Carson Houser, Annie Mackenzie, Jake Riley, Matt Robertson, Dave Stamey, Trinity Seely, R.P. Smith, and Jessie Veeder, plus rawhide braiding workshops with Doug Groves and leather stamping with Mark Barcus. The Ahern is also hosting a western gift show and NFR watch party that are free to attend.
