Wylie and crew keep it lean and mean with a working man's song about bucking bales. Wylie & the Wild West perform "200 Tons To Go" during the "Battle of the Bands" show at the 36th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Wylie Gustafson
Conrad, MT
Singer, songwriter, rancher, horseman, and the original, world-famous Yahoo!® yodeler, Wylie Gustafson is a real-life cowboy born into a fourth-generation ranching family on the empty sprawl of Northern Montana. He proves himself a never-boring entertainer as well as a highly adept songwriter. When not performing, Wylie raises and trains cow horses on his family ranch near Conrad, Montana. He is especially known for his songs that celebrate America's culture of ranching and farming. Wylie is joined by Tim Lashley (drums), Clayton Parsons (guitar), and John Paul Sporman (bass) as the Wild West.
Filmed in front of a live audience at the Laurena Moren Theater at the Elko Convention Center on Jan. 31, 2020.
This show was made possible by Blach Distributing and by the multitude of staff, artists, volunteers, and community members working behind the scenes to make this show happen.
